A dear friend of mine lost her husband Ivan Nester, who I'm proud to have called my friend as well, this past Saturday. His funeral is happening in Rocky Mount, Virginia at Flora Funeral Home today at 2:00 pm, as I make this post. Since I just left town and can't make the trip back so quick, I thought the family may enjoy seeing these pictures online during their time of sorrow. I'm very touched the family chose me to take their family portraits for them a couple of years ago. Ivan lost his battle to cancer like so many do these days. He had a passion for life and enjoyed his life to the fullest. Please help me pray for the family as they learn to tread-water again without his presence. I love you Ruby. ~ Dreama
