Nothing like mother-daughter maternity

I love doing these sessions so much... little hands, little feet beside the belly! Celebrating new life and still being Mommy's baby until brother arrives! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek @ Dreama Stephenson photography.

Go on lady...it's not your business!

While having a wonderful early morning session with a  beautiful strawberry  blonde yesterday. We set out for the tracks...not uncommon for my studio.

When the first place didn't work out due to railroad work, we moved on to another spot. No sooner than starting, the train decides to come ...So off the tracks we go. When the train had passed, back on the tracks we go to capture a few more cool images. But while there, a very busy- bodied older lady decided to start yelling at us "to get off the tracks" more than once. I tried to explain letting her know that we were being careful the train had already passed and her mother was beside her. When that didn't work out and the lady stayed using her phone's camera to take pictures of us while she had her van parked on the tracks herself, the mom tells her to "...mind her own business" which I was so proud of her for doing. When even this in itself did not work out and the lady would not leave we decided it was not worth upsetting my beautiful little subject any longer. But joke is on her as we got everything we needed including this cool image. Enjoy and thanks for coming to my studio.

Loads of fun

Okert Sweet Maternity Session

Enjoyed this session very much for this new Mom & Dad to be, however as I see it - they already are proud parents. And I think me calling them "Mom" and "Dad" flipped them out a little, in a good way!

Stephanie Hasch Bridal Session

My goodness, I just can't say enough about this bride from last fall. She is now married and it's is okay to share her images without worrying if her man sees her gown.  I just love meeting new people. This couple was no different. The engagement session just rocked with Stephanie Hasch, now Stephanie Hurst and Cory which is found on my Facebook page. But as you can see here, the bridal (for me) was so much fun.  Thanks guys for choosing me and to Dru Dzick, my friend for recommending her to come to my studio in the first place.

She's Graduating - ALREADY?

PreK that is. But still, when… how could this be happening ALREADY…tonight?????

I can't believe this (miracle baby that was not supposed to happen according the doctors, tests, surgeries & science) has just turned 5 and now graduating from her preschool. Where did the time go, how can it really go by that fast? It's not until you live it, you get it. And even then, you don't get it. I least I didn't and probably still don't. It's such a time to cherish as all years, please don't get me wrong, but the early years. Wow!!! 

The Lord has been good to us to provide this miracle baby (that's another story for another post) after all the years of waiting… but folks I waited more years than have passed with her wonderful little being in our lives (my life) and she's headed to Kindergarten in just over 2 months. 

Way to go (happily stated with a sigh at the end)!

So when I think of my Little Angel that God provided me (to us all who know her), I have to go back to this image the one that reminds me "THAT GOD DID THIS, GOD GAVE ME YOU - my daughter. My wonderful little Angel from GOD! I love you daughter! Signed Your Mommy.

Blooper with a Chick

Too funny not to share this little blooper. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks with our ever so fast growing chicks. And I want to share a full post about this endeavor. But this one just couldn't wait. Of course this has happened a few times between the two of us and 3 new additions, but today with a friend it was a much heightened experience, not to mention her Dad coming in  just as it happened. And this was today's shot.

Little Artist

Yesterday I got to sit still for a bit (imagine that) and be my little girl's human canvas. This is the result of some Mommy & Me fun yesterday from my little artist.

 One side of mine was Rambo Camo the rest was just a pretty pallet of color. She asked for a butterfly and flower on one cheek, Olloff on forehead and Elsa and Anna from Frozen on the other cheek, as well as cat whiskers. And here we are. Happy Mother's Day!

Mothers Day Thoughts W/AGirl And a Cat

So I've decided to start sharing  some personal fun on the blog. Now that my baby turned five years old 2 weeks ago today,  I'm struggling to get extra time with her before she starts school in Aug. People tell you how fast it is but you don't realize until you live it yourself. I would give up a lot of things if I could, to re-live the past five years again. I can't say I would give up ANYTHING because then I may have to lose more family members than already so.

Right now I'm outdoors watching this wonderful little spirit play with our kitty-cat with a small stick. Brings back fun memories for me while I watch.

  As Mother's Day approaches in just two days I find myself in awe of all mothers. Especially my own whom I do not get to see often enough. I thank you mother for everything you've done for me! Too bad you do not have Internet so you can read this post.
